Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, which was 1.6% of the U.S. population in 2014, is projected to double to 3.3% by 2060
as the U.S. population increases, the number of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias will rise, especially among minority populations
Alzheimer’s disease is the fifth leading cause of death of Americans age 65 and older
The question I have is what is driving this increase? A number of medical professionals are now referring to Alzheimer as Type 3 Diabetes. We have to ask the question what role is our diet and nutrition playing in the increase in Alzheimers.
